Where training takes place?

The training programme is held in Corrymeela on the beautiful North Antrim Coast near Ballycastle.  The is a residential programme and ISE has booked the Davey Village, a  self contained complex within the Corrymeela centre, for this training.  This very beautiful residential setting supports the work very well and participants are encouraged to reside at Corrymeela throughout the training.

However, occasionally this is not possible for some people and it is fortunate that the nearby Ballycastle (1.5 miles walking along the beach or shore road) has a range of reasonably priced accommodation available.  This can range from hostel to hotel accommodation. Look at the tourist information website run by Causeway Coast and Glens District Council for details.

It is to be assumed then that if you want to stay at Corrymeela you will have to share a room.  If there is someone you wish to share with it would be good if you could let us know asap when you book a place so that we can let Corrymeela know.

The accommodation costs £47 per night, which includes breakfast and an evening meal.  The rooms are not ensuite.  If you stay in Ballycastle you can buy into the meals provided at Corrymeela for £14 per day.

Corrymeela will cater for vegetarians and vegans and other dietary requirements.  If you have special foods that you like to eat, please feel free to bring them with you.  There are fridges in the kitchen area.
